Hyperion’s Crystal Steed

Created to showcase hydrogen fuel-cell technology, the XP-1 is the first vehicle by Hyperion Motors. While it has an all-electric drive system, the XP-1 will use hydrogen fuel cells for energy storage in place of batteries, making it extremely lightweight and giving it a projected range of approximately 1,000 miles. The hypercar’s distinctive styling, partly inspired by aircraft, has a glass canopy with an adjustable tint and flying buttresses that contain solar panels that pivot to follow the sun.
