Vacationland USA
| Inexpensive compared to full size trailers, tent trailers were easy to tow and offered vacationers spacious accommodations when fully deployed. The streamlined Ranger could be opened in a matter of minutes by turning a hand crank located at the front to raise both the top and canvas side panels. Pulling out the rear “drawer” provided space for a twin bed. In an effort to minimize production costs by using as many readily available parts as possible, the Anaheim-built Ranger was fitted with 1953/54 Ford taillights.
