The Petersen Automotive Museum collection contains one of the most diverse samplings of important vehicles ever assembled. Thanks to the vision and generosity of our founding benefactors, Margie and Robert E. Petersen, we have been able to acquire a number of important vehicles that we have not yet had the pleasure to present to the public. Treasures of the Vault will highlight a selection of these important acquisitions for a special exhibition that speaks to our mission and helps visitors understand and appreciate our rich automotive heritage.

Docent Guided Tour: Treasures of the Vault

Docent-led tours of the special exhibition “Treasures of the Vault” are offered through the run of the exhibit. Come spend half an hour with one of our Pit Crew docents exploring the stories behind the fantastic vehicles on display in our feature exhibition in the Gordon R. Howard Gallery. It’s a great way to spend the morning with your family, car club, or social group.
