Tuner Revolution: A New Generation of Speed celebrates the modern generation of performance enthusiasts and their innovations and how Tuner Cars have influenced Southern California car culture. Tuner Revolution presents the origins of the movement and traces its Southern California beginnings. It examines the products, styling, and innovations developed from a “garage-roots” movement. Visitors will learn how Tuner Car enthusiasts express themselves using their vehicles and explain how the cars play a major role in their lifestyle. The exhibition will examine how the movement transcends ethnic, gender, and socio-economic barriers, bringing together enthusiasts as one group that is not defined by a specific make of automobile, geographic boundary, or sub-niche.
