The Petersen’s five distinctive venues can accommodate all your event needs from 10-person meetings to large-scale parties of 2,000. From weddings to fashion shows, fundraisers to birthday parties, events here are always unique and memorable.

Host your own block party in a 1930s downtown setting! The first floor Streetscape diorama chronicles the evolution of the Southern California automobile and car culture in the twentieth century. The winding path provides sights and sounds of automobiles starting with a blacksmith shop from 1901, and ends with, “What Will They Think Of Next?”, an exhibit portraying the possibilities for the automobiles of the future. SECOND FLOOR AND PROMENADE

The second floor boasts seven exhibition galleries, two of which feature special themed exhibits that change annually. Guests will enjoy contemporary displays of exotic, classic, and luxury cars, hot rods, motorcycles, and famous cars of Hollywood stars. Host an event in the Grand Salon where your guests will enjoy the unique opportunity to dine and dance while surrounded by some of the world’s most exquisite automobiles.

Just outside the second floor exhibit space, and included when renting the second floor, is a 6,000 square foot alfresco promenade ideal for an outdoor lounge transformation for your guests, for event-sponsor showcasing needs, or even a social celebration.

Pavilion and Promenade

The Pavilion entertains all event types including auctions, product launches, fashion shows, wrap parties, tradeshows, black-tie galas, weddings, and more. An impressive 17,280-square-foot structure, this grand space presents endless possibilities. Your guests will enter the Pavilion via the second floor of the museum.

ENTIRE FOURTH FLOOR

Entire Fourth Floor

The Connor Penthouse on the fourth floor is a beautiful urban getaway. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls blur the lines between indoors and outdoors. A large terrace surrounds the Penthouse to bring the celebration or ceremony outside. A dramatic glowing glass wall surrounds the terrace to create an upscale ambiance matched only by the panoramic view of the twinkling city lights and the stars above. This beautiful setting serves as a great place for a cocktail party, dinner reception, or ceremony. During the day, the timeless modern style and bright, airy feel of the Penthouse make it perfect for weddings, conferences, or any other special event fit for an outdoor urban environment.

Also located on the 4th floor is the Founder’s Lounge. This boardroom offers a professional setting perfect for an off-site meeting. It can also be dressed as a private lounge area for a Penthouse party, or even serve as a bridal dressing room for a rooftop wedding. Pair a dinner or meeting with a tour of the museum. This space is available separately.
