Parnelli Jones is one of the most recognizable names in auto racing having won nearly every major auto race event in the United States including the Indianapolis 500. Jones' career began in 1952. Midgets, sprint cars or stock cars, if it had wheels, Parnelli won with it.

A win at the Indianapolis 500 cemented his name in the history books and his career accelerated from there. After multiple wins and records broken at Indy, Parnelli went on to race, set records, and win in USAC’s Stock Car series, Trans-Am, Pikes Peak Hill Climb, Baja 500 and Baja 1000.

Jones, along with long-time partner, the late Vel Miletich in 1967 established one of the most successful race teams in the history of the sport, hiring top guns such as Al Unser, Mario Andretti and Joe Leonard. The team went on to win 53 IndyCar races, including seven 500 mile race victories, as well as dominating every form of motorsport imaginable from Baja to Formula One.
