Group tours are available to any group of 10 or more, such as adults groups, special interest groups, senior groups, summer camps, scouts and college groups.

 

GUIDED TOUR

1-hour tour led by docents. Afterwards, one additional hour for self-exploration.

Unguided Tour

2-hour visit without docent guide.

Group size (per slot):
minimum 10 - maximum 150

HOW TO SCHEDULE A VISIT

Please reserve your tour at least 3 weeks in advance prior to visit.

To schedule a guided tour, a credit card is required to keep on file. In the event of a no-show, canceling or rescheduling within five business of tour date, or late arrival, a $20 fee will be applied under the listed credit card holder. You may list your credit card information below on your Reservation Form or contact the Scheduler at (323) 964-6346.

K-12 guided tours of the Petersen Automotive Museum meet California State Curriculum Standards in Visual Arts, Science, and History-Social Science for most grade levels.  All school tours are 90 minutes long and are led by members of the Pit Crew, our volunteer organization of trained docents. Large groups are divided into smaller touring groups of 15-20 students and adult chaperones to explore the galleries.  Special hands-on activities and a focused tour are recommended for K-2 classes.
