1932 Ford Flathead Roadster "Iron Man"
The Vault presented by Hagerty®
In the first two films of the Iron Man series, this 1932 Ford Roadster serves as a reference to Tony Stark's (Robert Downey Jr.) transformation from a rebellious, eccentric billionaire to the newly forged superhero. The roadster is used in the first film to explain the color scheme of Iron Man's infamous gold and red suit, which Tony instructs his virtual assistant J.A.R.V.I.S. to paint with "hot rod red." In the second film, it is used to underscore Tony's relationship with his deceased father, Howard Stark.
