1934 Ford "Pierson Brothers Coupe"
Second Floor - Industry
The Pierson Brothers Coupe drew the attention of the hot rodding world as soon as it began competing. It stood out among the field of hot rods not only for its professionally- painted livery, but because it was a coupe beating the roadsters. After a year of record-setting runs by this car, the SCTA finally opened a class for coupes and sedans. An innovative first, the car’s distinct profile was created by chopping the top and laying back the windshield to meet the windshield height regulation and minimize wind resistance.
