1960 Mazda R360 Coupe KRBB
Second Floor - Industry
Following the lead of other Japanese manufacturers, the Toyo Company expanded its product line to enter the kei (light) car market with the introduction of its Mazda R360. The R360 was constructed using advanced lightweight magnesium alloy and was innovatively equipped with four-wheel independent suspension and a torsion rubber spring system for a smoother ride. Power came from a four-stroke engine, which proved to be more fuel-efficient and durable than its two-stroke predecessor.
