For more than 100 years, Hollywood has painted a picture of what the future may look like. In all of these “imagined futures”, cars or car-like transportation as well as costuming has played an integral part of the storyline.
Celebrating Hollywood’s vision of the future, the museum will hold a FREE Cosplay Day with a in-exhibit pop-up gallery, cosplay academy, and panel discussion about the science and design behind science fiction and fantasy vehicles.

  • 10AM-6PM | Pop-up Gallery

  • 3PM-6PM | Cosplay Academy

  • 3PM | Photography Workshop with James Rulison (Sign up Day of)

  • 4:30PM | Panel Discussion: The Design and Science Behind Science Fiction and Fantasy Vehicles

What is Cosplay? It is “costume play", dressing up as your favorite character from a movie, book, or video game. All skill levels are welcome and encouraged to dress up and partake in the festivities! Please see costume guidelines below prior to arrival in your costume.

Admission to this event is FREE with Museum Admission.
