More and more automotive companies are investing in innovative haptics solutions for their next generation vehicles that contribute to the driver’s safety and keep their attention on the road and the wheel. Haptics refers to the sense of touch and to the devices using this channel to provide information to the driver. This information can be vibrations, pressure, touch-screens, change in temperature, or mid-air stimulation.
Join us at 11:00 am on April 28th, 2018 for a panel discussion featuring haptic scientists and companies to discuss the integration of the haptic sense in automotive and the remaining challenges to overcome.
Attendees will have the opportunity to be exposed to and try several haptic technologies such as mid-air haptics, touchscreen haptics, and more.
The event is free but requires paid admission to the museum. Light refreshments will be served.
