Teen Auto Workshop

Automotive Program for Ages 15 - 19

Learn the basics of automotive care and repair

Select Saturdays | 10AM - 12 PM

The Teen Auto Workshop, presented by the Petersen Automotive Museum, is a program in the Museum's collection for high school students to learn the basics of automotive mechanics while working on a car. Students will learn about the various parts of a car while performing repairs and upgrades on a Museum vehicle.

  • Participating in the Teen Auto Workshop Program is always free. However, admission into the Museum is required.

  • Our Teen Auto Workshop program is hosted in the Workshop area of the Museum located in the Vault.

  • Our Teen Auto Workshops are built for ages 15 - 19, and while we allow parents or guardians to watch, you may not participate in the program. You’re welcome to explore the Petersen Museum during the program but must remain within the Museum (for those bringing kids under 18).

  • Classes are limited to a select group of individuals for a better one-on-one experience. Signing up and filling out the form is required to participate in the workshop.
