The Teen Auto Workshop, presented by the Petersen Automotive Museum and supported by Jack Roush and Roush Performance, is a summer program for high school students to learn the basics of automotive mechanics while working on a car in the museum's collection. Students will meet once a week for twelve weeks and will learn about the various parts of a car while performing repairs and upgrades of the vehicle.
The workshop is free for participants.
Classes will take place on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. beginning on June 23. The base program is twelve weeks long.
The program is open to any high school student, including those who will be entering high school in the fall as well as those who just graduated in the spring. Spots are limited, and will be assigned after an application review process beginning in early May.
