Enjoy the convenience of onsite parking at the museum, where your first 15 minutes are on us! For visitors with disabilities, designated parking is thoughtfully provided on Level P1. Additionally, our commitment to sustainability shines through with three EV charging ports for electric vehicles, conveniently situated on the south side of Level P1. Access our parking garage easily via the entrance on Fairfax Avenue.

The Petersen Automotive Museum Foundation may employ automated license plate recognition (“ALPR”) technologies at various points of our parking lot entries and exits at 6060 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90023. The ALPR technology is used to read and store vehicle license plate information (“ALPR Data”) to enhance efficiency in entry and exit of the parking lot by employees and visitors. We do not use the ALPR Data for any other purpose.

ACCESSIBILITY

The Petersen Automotive Museum recognizes the diversity of our visitors’ abilities and we strive to ensure the accessibility of the museum and its collections. For questions about accessibility or to arrange an accommodation, please contact education@petersen.org or 323-964-6317.

Guests may be dropped off at the entrance on the first floor. Accessible parking spots (19) are only located on the first floor of the Petersen parking garage (P1), close to the main entrance, which is also accessible. There are no accessible parking spaces on the second, third, or fourth levels. The second, third, and fourth levels of the parking garage are not serviced by elevators.
A limited number of manual wheelchairs are available for check-out at front desk, free of charge, with identification. While the Petersen does not provide assistance with wheelchairs, personal care attendants are admitted into the museum free of charge.
Touch tours for blind or partially sighted visitors can be arranged by request, two weeks in advance, by our Group Tours department. ASL interpretation, tours, lectures, and other events are also available by request.
Service dogs, such as a guide dog for blind or partially sighted visitors, are always welcome. Personal care attendants are admitted into the museum free of charge.

Tickets can be purchased on-site everyday between the hours of 10:00 AM and 4:30 PM. For a faster check-in experience, Purchase Your Tickets Online!
Photography and Videography is permitted throughout the entire Museum, including the Vault area. Heavy equipment, such as gimbals and tripods, are NOT permitted in any areas of the Museum. For media inquiries, please contact us at dbrennan@kahnmedia.com
Strollers are permitted throughout the Museum; however, they are not allowed in the Vault area. For larger backpacks and bags, lockers are available at Security free of charge. Large bags and backpacks are not permitted within the Museum.
It takes approximately 2 - 3 hours to view the 3 upper floors of the museum. The additional vehicles downstairs in the Vault can take an additional 90 minutes to navigate.
