Opting Out of Marketing Communications: We may communicate with users to deliver news and information, including information about any events or offers, and marketing communications. We do provide you with the opportunity to opt out of email marketing communications by clicking the “unsubscribe” link within the text of the email or by contacting us at info@petersen.org . We will process your request to unsubscribe as required by law, but please be aware that in some circumstances, you may receive a few more messages from us before the unsubscribe is processed. If you opt-out of email marketing from us, you may still receive transactional or relationship emails from us (suchas receipts for purchases and emails regarding your account). California “Shine the Light” Law: California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits visitors to the Website and App who are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not provide your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

Nevada Disclosure: Residents of Nevada have the right to opt out of the sale of certain personal information to third parties. We currently do not sell your personal information as defined by Nevada law.

The Website and App may contain video content, audiovisual content, or content of a like nature (collectively, “Video Content”). Video Content is provided for the purpose of enhancing the user experience on the Website and App and is, therefore, provided in connection with Petersen’s non-profit activities related to automotive history. Petersen is not in the business of renting, selling, or delivering Video Content in a commercial manner. By using the Website and App, you agree that Petersen is not a “video tape service provider” as defined in the Video Privacy Protection Act (“VPPA”), 18 U.S.C.A. § 2710.

Children’s Privacy

Our Website and App are not directed to anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from anyone under the age of 16 without verification of parental consent, we take steps toremove that information from our servers.
