Straight Edge: No Whiskey In The Jar

The truck used to create “Str8 Edge” was already modified when Hetfield bought it, with a lengthened cabin and a flatbed used to transport the owner’s golf cart. The previous customizer had also added fiberglass fenders and used Bondo putty on the body to fill in its imperfections. To customize it further, the truck first had to be restored to its original steel. Winged tail lights and “ventiports” from a 1953 Buick were then added to the truck’s hood, giving “Str8 Edge” a futuristic 1960s look.
