Learn the basics of automotive care and repair

Select Saturdays | 10AM - 2 PM

This half day class will be taught by by our team for adults and youth wanting to learn the basics of automotive maintenance. Following the same concept as the Teen Auto class, a mechanic will lead adults through understanding the basics of safety, tool and car part recognition, how to diagnose simple problems, how to change a tire, and how to change your oil.

Auto Workshop FAQ

  • Participating in the Teen Auto Workshop Program is always free. However, admission into the Museum is required.

  • Our Auto Workshop program is hosted in the Workshop area of the Museum located in the Vault.

  • Unless otherwise specified, the Auto Workshop program is open to ages 12 and older. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • Classes are limited to a select group of individuals for a better one-on-one experience. Signing up and filling out the form is required to participate in the workshop.
