Meet our 1931

Ford Model A

A Real American Icon.

Introduced in 1927, the Model A offered buyers more comfort and performance than anything else in its class and by the end of production in 1931 Ford had sold over 3.5 million.  It was available in four colors and seven body styles, including a station wagon.  Since station wagons of the day were still regarded by most manufacturers as utilitarian service vehicles, most manufacturers, including Ford, fitted the doors with inconvenient snap-in side curtains instead of roll-up windows.  One of the most expensive models in the Ford lineup, the station wagon was hand-crafted from genuine wood at the company’s facility in Iron Mountain, Michigan.

Ryan Lopez

& Joe Berry

Ryan Lopez — Born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama, Ryan’s passion for cars started early, sparked by sitting in his uncle’s Ferrari F430 in 2005 and quickly fueled by an interest in Formula 1. He learned to drive in a Range Rover L322, and bought his first car soon after: a 1991 Nissan 240SX, which he still owns today. Ryan began his career in the automotive aftermarket over a decade ago, working as a Creative Director, before moving into a project management role with a major automaker. He joined Cars & Bids in 2023, where he now serves as Brand Marketing Manager, helping shape the voice of the enthusiast marketplace.

Joe Berry — Joe has worked in automotive television for over a decade, producing The Grand Tour, and as Head Writer of Top Gear America, with stints at other publications and channels including Motortrend, Petrolicious, Top Gear and Donut Media. Born and raised in rural England, Joe spent his formative years in the engine bay of his dad’s project Jaguar XJ6. He learned to drive and ride dirt bikes on his grandfather’s farm, before buying his first car, a $1000 1987 Mini Mayfair. Since then he has had a Mark II Golf GTI, an R129 SL500, an e46 330Ci, a 996 911 C4S, and most recently an LR4.
