Compliments of Alliant Private Client

Hear from industry leaders, historians, and visionaries on why a National Automotive Archives Consortium is not just necessary—it’s urgent. Join us as we discuss this new initiative designed to safeguard the stories, innovations, and identities behind our automotive icons before they fade into history. Without preservation today, there will be no provenance tomorrow.

Terry Karges

Terry Karges has served as Executive Director of the Petersen Automotive Museum for the past 13 years and has been instrumental in transforming it into a top-ranking organization. He has extensive experience in the automotive, sports, and entertainment industry, having held key leadership roles at Roush Performance, Cord Automotive, Oakland Stompers/NASL Soccer Team, SeaWorld, San Diego Wild Animal Park, and Disneyland, to name just a few. And he has gained an impressive record of success in building businesses, increasing sales, promoting brands, building strategic alliances, and negotiating partnerships. His entrepreneurial talents were evidenced by the success of Karges Sport Marketing and the Karges Sport Formula Atlantic Racing Team. His interests and activities are just as varied and expansive as his career. He is a principal at MotoAmerica, the North American Motorcycle Road Racing Championship Series, and he enjoys racing both automobiles and motorcycles.

Sam Mann

Sam Mann has spent the last 50 years sourcing, restoring, driving, and exhibiting his collection of American and French road and racing cars, celebrating the finest aesthetic triumphs of the Classic Era— one-off coachbuilt automobiles. Sam has four Best of Show trophies from the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, having taken the top award with a 1932 Chrysler LeBaron-body Speedster in 1991; a 1938 Delage D8-120 de Villars Cabriolet in 1996; a 1934 Voisin C15 Ets Saliot Roadster in 2002; and a 1937 Delage Portout Aerodynamic Coupe in 2005. Sam is an industrial designer, serving as a consultant before inventing and patenting several consumer products, building manufacturing facilities, and overseeing marketing and international distribution. He proudly supports many cultural and healthcare institutions as well as educational scholarships.
