Released in 2021, Aston Martin's F1 car for the road-the Valkyrie-was developed with legendary Formula One designer Adrian Newey. Its dramatic bodywork references Aston Martin's signature design language while incorporating F1 aerodynamic void-like forms. It is constructed entirely of carbon fiber with multiple Venturi tunnels on either side of the cockpit floor. These draw air beneath the vehicle to feed the rear diffuser, keeping the upper surfaces free from drag-inducing aerodynamic elements, and generating 2,400 Ibs of downforce.
