A Powerful Hybrid Race Car

The Porsche 963 was developed for endurance racing and prepared by Porsche Penske Motorsport to compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship and IMSA Championship for the 2023 racing season. Its design, built around a chassis based on Le Mans Prototype 2-class racing cars, features an aerodynamic carbon-fiber body designed by Porsche’s Grant Larson. The 963’s powerful hybrid engine is derived from the 918 Spyder and is designed to run on renewable fuels. The 963 on display is a non-operational show model.
