About the Event

This half-day class features a mixture of classroom teaching and hands-on experience led by our trained mechanics in our mechanic shop. Students will learn about basic maintenance and how your car runs. Topics include the basics of safety, tool recognition, basic diagnosis of simple problems, how to change a tire, and how to change your oil.

This is specifically a medium level course and participants must have already completed a 101 level course this year or attended a Teen Auto Workshop last year in order to register.

For those eager to share this knowledge with the next generation, the workshop invites participants between ages 14 and 19, offering a unique opportunity for young enthusiasts to delve into the world of automotive care. Guardians may accompany minors but can not participate in the workshop, and are free to explore the museum but may not leave the museum during the workshop. Admission not included with workshop.

This is a FREE Petersen Education program for students ages 14-19. Members receive complimentary parking. Not a member? Join Today!
